Simon is the Communication Manager for Innovista International. He has worked in the charity sector for nearly two decades, and his previous experience includes communications for a Christian ministry for 15 years and supporting victims of modern slavery for a humanitarian organisation. Simon has a history DPhil from Oxford University and is on both the part-time tutor panel of its Continuing Education Department and the editorial committee of Oxford Local History Association’s journal. He has authored two books, as well as articles for local newspapers, Victorian Web and an academic journal, while his previous media work included having a (joint) regular local history slot for BBC Radio Oxford, and appearing on televised documentaries for Channel 5 and TBN. Simon lives with his family in Oxford, and he enjoys history, sport, reading, travel, youth work, current affairs, and running a boy’s football team.
