You could make a life-changing difference to a young person growing up in disadvantage.
Whether you’re looking for a full-time role or have a couple of hours a week to spare, there are many flexible and practical ways to help.
Here’s the lowdown.
We’re always on the lookout for people who share our vision to see disadvantaged communities changed for good through the service of young people.
One powerful way to do that is by becoming a mentor. Mentoring has helped many young people find breakthrough in their lives. Many more are waiting to be matched with someone who can help them reach their goals.
Could that person be you?
You’ll receive plenty of training and support – and all we ask is that you commit to meeting with a young person once a week for a year.
Or do you have a passion for sport, spreadsheets, cooking, crafts or making green things grow on the allotment? Many of our activities couldn’t run without volunteers, and we’d love you to share your skills and enthusiasm with us.
Email email@example.com to find out more about ways to get involved as a volunteer.
Does your church want to see young people’s lives changed in a disadvantaged community on your doorstep? If you are inspired by our model and are interested in setting up a new Thrive Team in your neighbourhood please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s start talking.
If you would like to explore other ways your church could get involved and inspired, please contact Mary Smith at email@example.com to book a speaker or find out more about ways to partner with us.
If you – or someone you know – feels called to work with young people in urban areas, please check out our practical, Bible-based 10 month full-time Youth Ministry Training programme.
