Four things we have learnt from Leaders in Moldova

Across Moldova, we are supporting leaders in a wide range of ministries and learning from them as we hear their stories.

Welcome for All

The generosity that was shown by so many leaders seemed to have no limits. We saw leaders opening their homes and generosity which was far beyond their means: this is always fragrant of the gospel. Anya, on the right, fosters vulnerable children who need love and support.

Don't go it alone

More and more, we saw examples of leaders working in partnership with others and other organisations. This matters. We can learn from others and with others. We can share resources better and go further. We have been growing leaders here for many years and the depth of our relationships with these leaders matters.

Constancy

In a fleeting, fast changing world, being constant for each other over a long period of time is an overlooked quality.  We saw here in Moldova, leaders who are in it for the long haul and want to be there for each other regardless of the difficulties. In such an environment, Kingdom values grow at pace. This is Spiridon and Stephanie showing Innovista Moldova Director, Maricela their plans to build a home for the vulnerable elderly.

Creating opportunities

This is Aneta. She, like many other leaders we met is constantly creating opportunities and enterprises for young people to give them a reason to stay in Moldova. In a country where many young people leave, this kind of enterprise is vital and creates strong Christian communities.
