It started 25 years ago at a kitchen table with the first donation: a £10 note. A small start, sparked by a big need.
Through his work in Eastern Europe, Jason had seen what could happen in challenging places like Belarus – today still a communist dictatorship - when young Christian leaders have practical training and ongoing support. The hope of Jesus takes root. People and communities are changed.
He he also saw the terrible waste when gifted leaders lack help. They suffer. The Church suffers. Worst of all, people and communities suffer – without the hope of Jesus.
So, in 2000, Jason walked into a local bank, handed that note to the cashier and told her he was starting a new organisation. She looked doubtful.
But Innovista was started, inspired by Jesus. We had a small team, £10 in the bank, and people like you who wanted to see leaders equipped to build a better world.
God used that first donation to start something. Today, could you give a gift that will start something new?

Staying
25 years later, Innovista works with over 1,700 leaders, serving in 12 countries (numbers from 2024). Ministries in Ukraine, Moldova, GB & Ireland and Central Asia are led by local Christians. They speak the language. They love the people. They are building a future where communities are better because the Church is there.

To provide Innovista's distinctive support to leaders in 8 new countries by the end of 2028 - challenging countries like Belarus, and more countries in Central Asia.
Right now, leaders in these countries are asking for Innovista’s support. With your help, we can turn our answer from ‘we can’t’ into ‘yes!’
